SPOKEN WORD INNER-TAINMENT PUBLISHING POETRY CHAPTER

We aim to provide the best quality merchandise and services at prices you can afford. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.

Our mission is to spread a message of hope that will empower our communities to improve the quality of life for our young people by offering positive alternatives to the streets, thru promoting healthy eating, living, relationships, literacy, and lifestyle choices.  Swip Poetry Chapter is a subsidiary of The Healthy Living Program and  an official poetry chapter and publishing company  as of October 2009, that currently publishes manuscripts , books of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, anthologies, and memories, as well as producing cd’s and dvd’s.

The Spoken Word Inner-tainment Publishing (SWIP) Poetry Chapter provides disadvantaged and at-risk youth with opportunities to increase literacy through introduction to the arts.  SWIP also allows up and coming authors exposure for their work. At-Risk youth will also be introduced to positive role models and empowering self-image concepts.  The chapter will sponsor a Stop the Violence Movement bi-annually. The purpose of the movement is to empower our communities to take action against the senseless violent crimes that have plagued our cities throughout the nation. The event will bring together authors, lyricists, musicians, artists, community activists, clergy, law enforcement, former gang members, government leadership, and families of all socio-economic backgrounds that have lost loved ones through gang violence, and domestic violence. The event will feature live musical performances, presentations, personal testimonies, remarks and informative literature from local talent. We will provide media coverage and interview individuals on WESL TV26, and our BTR radio show. In addition to providing a forum that showcases local and global talent, the chapter will provide books to area  youth in a book walk, sponsor essay contests, and host a candlelight vigil to remember victims of violence.

Stop The Violence is a compilation project spear headed by SWIP’s founder and poet, Yahkhahnahn. This is an awe inspiring, and spiritually uplifting compilation of cogitative lyrics and ambience. This compilation was carefully arranged for your enjoyment, but demands you activism in stopping youth violence across America. SWIP indicates that all proceeds to this project will go to activities and programs for youth development and charities. SWIP’s compilation has some of the most profound artists to hit the industry in recent years. Give it a listen and support stopping the violence across our nation. (Freedom Verse Cafe).
